SPORN, Yeah You Heard Me!

Yep, you saw right...sporn...

OK, I can see your faces contorting with a chorus of  'what the.....???'

SPORN - soap porn (noun) - copious amounts of photos, video and literature about making soap, displaying soap, wrapping soap or generally just drooling over what other have made.

Now, off you go and look up some 'sporn'! BUT, please ensure that you look it up the proper way. I will not be held responsible if you look up 'sporn' and get something else! A great starting point is 'soap porn' on Pinterest.

Sorry, I have no sporn to share, but I have many ingredients coming for eventual sporn...just need to learn to photograph them goodly...

This is a post by one of my old dance students, Bec. She reminds us about just some of the reasons why we should buy handmade.

Free E-Book Resources

There are a LOT of free resources out there. One of the best I have discovered of late for free e-books has been for Kindle books on Amazon. Yes, it does take a while to sort through and come up with the combinations to find related and relevant books, but when you are getting books for nix, I am not complaining!

These book only seem to be free for a short period of time (about a week or so), so if you see one, grab it and pass the link on! As of today, and I have been hunting around for about a week on Amazon, I have almost 30 Kindle books relating to soap making, essential oils, aromatherapy and natural beauty recipes.

You do NOT need an actual Kindle device, you can download Kindle Reader apps for iPad, iPhone/iPod and Android devices from Amazon. They may also even have readers for PC's and iMacs so in theory, you could print out the book.

I don't recommend going on a daily searching spree, but once or twice a week is good. Now stop reading my blog (for now) and get going over to Amazon!

Recommended keywords: soap, soapmaking, essential oil, aromatherapy bath, spa, scrub, skincare, skin care, beauty... Change the sort from "low to high".
